Smemoranda, the historic Italian agenda-book, commissioned to WALLS the Dream Dream Dream campaign for the launch of new 2011 agendas. Together with five other national creative realities, as WALLS engaged in the dissemination of public art and urban, we have managed the selection of two artists to create a work during the national day of launch of the new agenda. The location, an old ramp used by the Opera in the 70s, has seen two artists work together to create a great work of art. For this project we selected artists with dissimilar styles and approaches but able to work together to produce a unified result of great effect. Agostino Iacurci and Thoms, both Italians, have concentrated their efforts on accentuating their opposing styles in terms of content. “Day and night” is the result of this joint effort where the dream looks like real figure made up of scenes that can represent different emotions, an interiority that becomes reality.
